I've found the perfect present for Charles' birthday. It's a Radio Control Hammerhead Shark form the Discovery Channel. It can dive up to 8 feet in water!

Oh dear!
My Grandson Charles, as many of you know, is quite an artistic young man. He just emailed me a link to this strange and wondrous website. Everyone must do something, and these people provide anatomical models--I suppose to the medical trade. I daresay the photographs are rather gruesome and may not be appropriate for children or pregnant women. But it is exceedingly interesting.
Happy Pi Day
My Grandson Charles is a bit of an egghead, as many of you know. he tells me that today, March 14 (or "3-14") is Pi Day. Pi is equal to a circle's circumference divided by its diameter, and it's usually shortened to 3.14. Read all about it here.

Oh my!
My Grandson Charles, as many of you well know, is quite a talented artist. He works mainly on his computer, and I fear he spends far too much time hunched over that thing, never leaving his room. I urge him to get out more, and smell the flowers. Charles created this wonderful portrait of a young woman named Jessica Alba. I don't always find his works pleasing, but they are always interesting and I am a firm supporter of the arts.
